“High scores are the only data players should worry about.”
This Privacy Policy describes how DaboSoft (“DaboSoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our games, websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide, information created when you play, and information collected automatically.
Information you provide. Display name or handle, support or privacy requests, and any other information you choose to send us.
Gameplay information. Leaderboard submissions (scores and the name or handle you attach to them) and game-save data used to store and restore progress. These features are designed not to require your legal name, email address, or similar contact details. A display name you choose may still identify you if you make it identifiable.
Technical and usage information. IP address, device and operating-system information, game version, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, log data, diagnostics, and crash reports. We collect this to operate, secure, and fix the Services.
Information from platforms and service providers. When you download or play through a store, engine, or platform, we may receive information those providers make available to us as the developer (for example install or crash reports, purchase status, or a platform account identifier). We treat that information as subject to this Policy.
We do not collect payment card numbers. Purchases made through a store are processed by that store.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- operate leaderboards and store or restore game saves;
- diagnose errors, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Services secure;
- respond to requests and communicate service-related notices;
- comply with law and enforce our terms;
- protect the rights, safety, and integrity of DaboSoft, our players, and the public.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information to build third-party advertising profiles.
3. Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process personal information:
- to perform our contract with you (providing the Services, saves, and leaderboards);
- for our legitimate interests in operating a stable, secure product, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- to comply with a legal obligation; or
- with your consent, where we ask for it. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information:
- Publicly, when you submit a leaderboard entry (score and display name).
- Service providers that host, store, analyze, or support the Services, including cloud hosting, leaderboard infrastructure, crash reporting, and communications. They may process information only on our instructions and for the purposes in this Policy.
- Platforms and stores through which the Services are distributed, as needed to deliver, update, or support the game.
- Legal and safety, when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Services.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies that are necessary to run the Services, remember settings, and understand performance and stability. You may control cookies through your browser or device. Blocking some technologies may affect functionality.
6. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including to provide saves and leaderboards, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including restricted access and encryption in transit where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where that is the applicable age, unless a specific product states otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a denied request. You may also lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
To make a request, email privacy@dabosoft.com. We may require information sufficient to locate the relevant records (for example game, display name, approximate dates, and platform) and to verify that you are entitled to the data. If we cannot verify a request, we may deny it.
10. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of protection as your home country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice in the Services or on this page.
